Occlusion normalization and complete teeth leveling facilitate reduction of caries frequency and stabilization of parodontal diseases. Orthodontic treatment is possible, and sometimes even required, before installing prosthetic application. After teeth are properly positioned, the denture serves longer, since chewing load is distributed evenly and in a right direction. In some cases, prosthetics is not possible without preliminary orthodontic preparation.

It is called Vari-Simplex Discipline. This system is used by thousands of practicing orthodontists all over the world. Its main purpose is to provide a qualitative result of the orthodontic treatment easily and effectively. It includes brackets and arches, as well as other small fittings for correction of teeth shifting.
Brackets are glued to teeth with adhesive systems which are absolutely harmless for the enamel and play the role of a pad between the metal and the living tissue of the tooth.
Treatment procedure:
1. Consultation (X-ray analysis, casting moulds, diagnostics, drafting of a treatment plan, choice or the treatment method).
2. Installation of bracket systems.
3. Visiting – 1 time per 4-8 weeks for activation and correction.
Treatment duration from 1 to 2 years with regard to treatment method choice (in rare cases, the term may be reduced).

The following rules must be observed while eating:
1. When consuming firm vegetables and fruit (carrots, apples, peaches, etc.), as well as other products which must be nibbled off, first cut them into small pieces. One shouldn’t nibble with front teeth.
2. Exclude hard food, such as nuts, crackers, ring-named cracknels, candies, lollies, since they can lead to a come off and damage of the apparatus.
3. Do not consume viscous and sticky products (butterscotches, chewing gum).
4. Avoid consumption of very hot or very cold food, since temperature can deteriorate the orthodontic arch features.
5. To avoid coloration, neither strong tea/coffee, nor dark-colored berries should be used. This will help you to keep good aesthetics.
Non-observance of these rules leads to the bracket coming off.
Rules of caring for teeth with installed brackets:
1. It is necessary to clean teeth minimum two times daily. After each food intake, mouth rinsing is obligatory.
2. Teeth cleaning should last 10 minutes in front of the mirror using two alternating brushes.
Use a brush having a V shaped cut on the surface of the bristle by making longitudinal motions (along the arch). Side surfaces of the teeth and places under arch difficult to reach, should be cleaned by a brush having hard bristle.
Gargle your mouth and your brush with warm water. Have a look at the mirror to make sure there are no places missing. If you notice that you have omitted some places, do not delay it until the next time, but repeat cleaning immediately. Pay special attention and be careful when cleaning the space between the brackets and the gum. When you finish cleaning, teeth, brackets, rings and arches must shine! You should use foamy tooth-paste, in order to reach all places difficult of access in the mouth cavity.
