Application of implants at modern stage of development in contrast to traditional methods of prosthesis has a range of feasible advantages:
 | 1. Avoiding to use neighboring, to the lost tooth, teeth as a base for bridge prosthesis and also removing (due to indications) from them neurovascular funiculus (removal of tooth pulp). 2. Distribution of mastication pressure practically equal to the natural tooth. A patient has an impression of possessing his own tooth, a feeling of live tissue. 3. Slowing down the process of atrophy of bone tissue and its nearly complete stop. 4. Usage of “tentatively removable” constructions of bridge prosthesis and singular crowns. When the doctor easily removes the crown, for the reasons of prophylaxis or hygienic procedures, by turning off the screw (i.e. the crown is not fixed by cement, the screw is hidden under the aesthetic filling at an unnoticeable place). 5. Modern implants allow to use them for better fixation of removable construction with elderly people as well as for temporal substitution of absent teeth, and while manufacturing permanent constructions in the course of implants establishment. |
At present, for restoration of the visible part of crown, we use biocompatible materials which are not torn away by the human body. In the first place we use non-metal ceramics, zirconium dioxide and titanium ceramics bearing golden alloys. Application of these materials doesn’t produce allergic reaction, toxic inflammation of gum and the necessity of taking essential care of neighboring healthy teeth.
The most relevant material we use in our clinic is dioxide zirconium. Dioxide zirconium belongs to the high technological materials on account of its properties: durability and transparency. It has excellent mechanical properties, biological compatibility and wonderful color refraction. As for durability such tooth doesn’t yield to metal ceramics and aesthetically it exceeds the latter.

In 30-35% clinical cases we try not to use prefabricated standard abatman (abatman is an external part of a structure which is screwed into the implant to fix the prosthesis), we, rather, offer individual ones which are manufactured in our own laboratory, which should better suit concrete clinical situation in so far as the tilt angle, height and width of cutting are concerned. Meanwhile a shoulder is created to exclude pressure on the gum edge and better result of aesthetic indicators is achieved. In conclusion I’d like to draw your attention to the fact that the strategy of price formation in our clinic doesn’t depend upon complexity of clinical situation.
